Who actually does the work?
Connor Jones, the engineer you speak to on the first call, leads every project from scoping to launch. Jones Digital is an independent studio, so there is no account manager between you and the person building it, and no junior doing the work you were sold by a senior.
What happens if Connor is unavailable, on holiday or ill?
Every build is documented, version-controlled and hosted on infrastructure with monitoring and daily backups, so nothing depends on one person being online. Planned absences are told to clients in advance with cover arranged for anything urgent, and hosting and uptime are watched around the clock by automated checks. You own the code and the accounts, so you are never locked in.
Is a small independent studio right for a bigger project?
For most small-business projects, yes: lower overheads, one accountable person, and no hand-offs. For work that genuinely needs a team, Jones Digital scopes it honestly and either brings in trusted specialists under its own management or tells you it is the wrong fit. That is agreed before a quote, not discovered after.
How are projects priced?
A fixed quote after a scoping conversation, with a written summary of what is included. Advice sessions are £125 for an hour and £400 for a half day; builds start from £750 for automation and from £4,000 for web apps.
