A club website the committee can actually keep up to date, without chasing a member who's long gone.
Most club sites were built years ago by a member or a web person nobody can reach any more. This is a fresh, simple site that shows your fixtures, fills your function room, and gets looked after for you.
Or spread it: £59/month, £0 upfront. Pay monthly.
The bits that cost you jobs.
- The site was built years ago by a member or a web person who's since vanished, and now nobody can change a word of it.
- The fixtures and events page is months or years out of date, so it makes the club look shut even when it's busy.
- The committee can't update anything themselves, and every small change means finding someone who might help.
- There's a hosting bill going out each year that nobody on the committee fully understands or can trace.
- Room-hire enquiries are coming in and getting missed, which is money the club is quietly losing.
Nearly all of your customers look you up online before they call. When they search, they are choosing between the two or three businesses that actually showed up, you want to be one of them.
Word of mouth still works, but it travels through Google now. Someone gets your name from a neighbour, searches it, and decides in a few seconds whether you look like the real thing. When someone searches “function room hire Croydon”, a handful of your competitors appear, that list is exactly where this puts you.
Fixed prices, and you own it.

The room-hire enquiries your site catches, a birthday, a wake, a christening, more than cover the Care plan on their own.
Compare that to a directory. A shared lead from a Checkatrade-style site costs £30–£80 and gets quoted against two of your rivals, and you rent that relationship forever. Enquiries through your own website are exclusively yours, and once it is built it keeps working whether you pay for leads or not.
Four steps, no mystery.

Live and looked after
It goes live, and I keep it running so you can get back to the job.
The things members' usually ask.
The last person who built our site disappeared. How do we avoid that again?
That's the most common story I hear from clubs, and it's exactly what I'm set up to fix. You deal with one person who answers, and on the Care plan I look after the site for you so it never depends on tracking down a member again. If you ever want to leave, you own everything and I hand it over cleanly, no holding your club to ransom.
Can the committee update things themselves, or does it all come through you?
You can do whichever suits the club. For most committees the honest answer is they'd rather not fight with a website, so on the Care plan you email or message me the change, a new steward, updated opening hours, this weekend's event, and I make it live within a day or two. If a particular member does want to edit some sections, I can set that up too. It's whatever keeps the site current without becoming a chore.
We take a lot of room-hire enquiries. Can the site handle those?
Yes, and it's usually the part that pays for itself. I build a clear function-room page with photos, capacity and what's included, and an enquiry form that goes straight to whoever handles bookings, so a christening or a wake never slips through the cracks. Catching a couple of those a year covers the plan comfortably.
Our fixtures and events are always out of date. Can you keep them current?
That's the Care plan doing its job. You send me the fixtures list or the events for the month and I keep the page current, so the site never makes the club look closed when the bar's full on a Saturday. A club that looks alive online is a club people turn up to.
There's a hosting bill nobody understands. Can you sort that out?
I can. I take over the domain, email and hosting on the Care plan, put it all in one place under the club's name, and give you a single plain price with nothing hidden. No more mystery renewal charge that gets passed between treasurers. If you're not sure who currently holds the domain, I'll help you find out and move it across.
£499 seems low for a club site, what's the catch?
No catch. Club sites are often over-quoted; my previous club offer was £1,995 and the Standard at £499 does what the vast majority of clubs actually need, a clean, current site with room hire and events. I keep costs down because it's just me, no agency overheads. If a club wants something bigger, like a members' area, that's a higher tier, but most don't need it.
Have you done this kind of work before?
Yes. One example is South Croydon Conservative Club, a members' club that's been going well over a century, I rebuilt their tired old site into something fresh and simple that the committee doesn't have to worry about. Clubs like that are exactly the sort of work I enjoy: long-standing places that just need their website brought up to date and looked after.
