Websites for Kitchen Fitters

A website that shows your best kitchen before they ever ring you.

A kitchen refit is a big spend, and customers research for weeks before they call anyone. This is the site that puts your best installs in front of them while they're deciding who to trust.

Or spread it: £59/month, £0 upfront. Pay monthly.

01 · Sound familiar?

The bits that cost you jobs.

  • Your best kitchens are sitting on your phone or Facebook where no new customer will ever see them.
  • You're paying Checkatrade or MyBuilder for leads that go to two or three other fitters at the same time.
  • Customers spend weeks researching a kitchen, and with no proper site you're invisible for most of that time.
  • Word of mouth keeps you busy in one area, but it dries up the moment a run of referrals ends.
  • Quoting takes ages because enquiries arrive with no photos, no measurements and no idea of budget.
02 · Why it matters

Nearly all of your customers look you up online before they call. When they search, they are choosing between the two or three businesses that actually showed up, you want to be one of them.

Word of mouth still works, but it travels through Google now. Someone gets your name from a neighbour, searches it, and decides in a few seconds whether you look like the real thing. When someone searches “kitchen fitter near me”, a handful of your competitors appear, that list is exactly where this puts you.

05 · What it’s worth

Kitchen refits commonly run from £5,000 to £15,000 or more. If the site brings in one job, it has paid for itself many times over, and it keeps working after that.

Compare that to a directory. A shared lead from a Checkatrade-style directory costs £30–£80 and gets quoted against two of your rivals, and you rent that relationship forever. Enquiries through your own website are exclusively yours, and once it is built it keeps working whether you pay for leads or not.

06 · How it works

Four steps, no mystery.

  1. 01

    We talk

A short call or a few messages. You tell me what you do and where you work.

  2. 02

    Fixed quote

I tell you the price and what it includes. No hourly surprises, no scope creep.

  3. 03

    Built while you watch

You see it come together on a private link and say what to change.

  4. 04

    Live and looked after

It goes live, and I keep it running so you can get back to the job.

07 · Questions

The things kitchen usually ask.

I get most of my work through word of mouth. Why bother with a website?

Because even referred customers check you out online before they call. When a friend mentions your name, the first thing most people do is search for you, and if nothing comes up, some of them quietly move on. The site isn't there to replace word of mouth, it's there to catch the people word of mouth sends your way, and to bring in work when referrals go quiet.

What makes a kitchen fitter's site different from any other trade's?

The gallery. No other trade has work this photogenic, and customers choose a fitter with their eyes. Your site is built around big, fast-loading photos of finished kitchens, with before and after shots where you have them. A customer who has scrolled through ten of your installs is already half sold before they fill in the form.

Customers take weeks to decide on a kitchen. Does a website really help with that?

That long research period is exactly why it helps. While they're comparing quotes and browsing ideas, they keep coming back to the fitters who look established. A proper site with your work, your reviews and your process gives them a reason to shortlist you early and keep you there. The fitter with two blurry photos on a directory listing doesn't survive three weeks of comparison.

I'm on Checkatrade already. Isn't that enough?

A directory lead is shared, so the same kitchen enquiry gets sold to you and two rivals, and you pay either way. On a job worth thousands, racing strangers to the phone is a poor way to win work. Enquiries through your own site come to you alone, from people who have already seen your kitchens and chosen to contact you. Most fitters keep the directory for a while, then let it lapse once the site is bringing in enough.

Can the site make quoting less painful?

Yes. The enquiry form asks the questions you'd ask anyway: rough size, whether units are staying or going, timescale and a budget range, with the option to attach photos. You stop driving out to price up jobs that were never going to happen, and the enquiries that do land are ones worth your evening.

I'm not technical. Who deals with the domain, email and updates?

I do. On any care plan I handle the domain, DNS, email and hosting, and when you finish a kitchen you're proud of, you WhatsApp me the photos and they're on the site within 48 hours. You own the domain in your name, I just look after the wiring.
